Brazos Bend State Park
On Saturday Lauren and I went to the Brazos Bend State Park, which is about 25 miles outside of Houston. It costs $7 dollars per person to get in, but has plenty to do once you are inside. There are over 20 miles worth of trails for hiking or biking, lakes for fishing, an observatory, and as you can see lots of photo opportunities. Definitely worth the trip to see the alligators!
Brazos Bend State Park (click the link to go to the park website). Also be aware that for $70 dollars you can purchase a state park pass that is good for 1 year and gives you and everyone in your car free entry to any state park in Texas!
This was the wildest animal at the park!
This was the biggest one we saw and it was probably 8 or 9 feet.

October Break Favorites
I got a much deserved week break after a sleepless month of surgery. Lauren and I played in Avery at her parents farm, made a couple of trips to the dog park, went to the Texas State Fair, made a day trip to Denison for golf and dinner, and finished out the week at Six Flags with Matthew!
