Let me tell you about my life… in no particular order of course.
First and foremost I am a Christian. I am a sinner who is thankful for the sacrifice that Jesus Christ made when he was nailed to the cross and died for my sins. I believe that anyone who accepts this truth will inherit eternal life in the kingdom of God. I encourage anyone who is in the least bit intrigued by this to ask questions and find out for yourself the glorious plan God has waiting for you.
I am also truly blessed to have an amazing family. This starts with my beautiful wife Lauren Spindle! She has given me the greatest joy that I could ever imagine. She is a fellow believer, an artist/photographer, a Dentist, and my best friend among other things. She is extremely talented and you should check out her blog at http://laurenspindle.blogspot.com/. I also have really wonderful parents, David and Beth, who have always been there to support and encourage me through the good times and the bad. My brothers are stand-up guys that I look up to in many different ways; Jordan has been my mentor through my undergrad and medical education and Collin’s dedication to loving and serving others is truly inspiring. Lauren was a package deal of course, so I wound up inheriting another great set of parents, Mike and Cheryl, and two more brothers, Ryan and Matthew, who have taken me in as their own since day one. In addition some of my fondest memories in life are those with my grandparents; the lessons I have learned from them will stay with me forever!
Well my “life history” in a nutshell is this: I was born and raised in Denison, Texas where I was an Eagle Scout, football player, hunter, and pool boy. I studied Biomedical Sciences at Texas A&M, graduating class of 2009. I am currently a medical student at UT Houston and will graduate in 2013. I became seriously interested in photography in the summer of 2009 when I purchased my first DSLR (Canon Rebel XS) for a trip to Sierra Leone, Africa. I also enjoy running, wakeboarding, slacklining, frisbee, ice cream, Dr. Pepper, and playing guitar.
There are many other things that I could ramble on about but I will spare you and stop here…
